The Pittsburgh Pirates came on after 45 minutes. They started off rocking, then slowed down to play some pre1980 songs that were not hits typically heard on the radio. For the average fan, this might have been a letdown as it meant fewer of their popular songs. However, having all their albums allowed me to follow along for the most part.
ZZ Top started off their set by playing their biggest hits right away. I initially questioned their fast start, only to realize they were finished after a few more songs. Despite having 20 songs on their greatest hits album, they only played for about 45 minutes, which was somewhat disappointing.
The Pittsburgh Pirates didn't seem to put much effort into the non-musical aspects of their performance. The light effects were mediocre, and the TV screens behind them felt like they were playing a screensaver at times, failing to enhance the songs and make the show stand out.
